Default Bas/esp light

I have a 2005 Crossfire Limited with 13,500 miles on it. I have owned it for one year. Three weeks ago the BAS/ESP light went on and I took the vehicle to service center with an excellent reputation for fixing any/all vehicles. They ran a diagnostic test and determined that I needed a new YAW Rate Sensor which they installed the following week. After installation, the scanner said that the problem was fixed. However, the BAS/ESP light continued to stay on. They tried 3 different scanners to "reprogram" the vehicle with no success in turning the light off. This week they will re-install a new and different YAW Rate Sensor. However, I am concerned that the results will be the same. The part with labor cost $1,325 plus $110 for the initial diagnostic test.
Any ideas on why the light continues to stay on when the diagnostic test states that the problem part has been fixed?
Your help would be greatly appreciated. Thanks, Dennis
