$1445 for a sensor? How can anyone charge that?
I told a member to replace a two year old + battery on another thread and was rebuked for wasting money. For anyone who has not been battery shopping lately; "They do not make them like they use to." I do not know if this an EPA thing or just the manufactures trying to turn products and keep money flowing into their accounts, Most all new batteries are now 36 month, some are only 30 and you must hunt for the 48 warranty which of coarse is prorated. The past years with 60 month batteries are gone and so is the associated quality. I total concur that if you are having electrical issues with your car one of the very first moves you can do to help find or rectify the problem is get a new battery. If you have let the battery run down low to where it won't turn the starter over the life of that battery is on it's final days in the IC ward.
The other option is to hunt /order an Optima battery. I had one long ago and it worked fine. I'm planning on going that route with my next purchase on the family car, but will go light weight antigravity battery for the Crossfire.
