Has anyone tried this Weistec M113 billet aluminum oil filter cap?

designed for use with Mercedes filter stalk A 112 180 07 10" which is the one used by our car. Does the long, plastic inner pressure-bypass "shaft" snap into this metal cap the same as on a BMW? I wish someone made a COMPLETELY aluminum replacement upgrade aftermarket part like they do for BMW's, like this one: https://www.ecstuning.com/b-uro-prem...27525334prm~u/ where even the inner pressure-bypass "cage" is aluminum.
