Hmmmmmm where do we start with this.Firstly Weistec is a top of the line boutique parts maker for BMW MB and Mclarins.I have never purchased anything from them but I do buy a lot of CNC stuff for my motorcycles from similar companies.What I have found is don't go buy the illustrations shown with the part you want.You will receive the correct part that was made for your car,they cannot show every application for each part so a generic pic is used.The quality is amazing.Most of these small American business' doing CNC parts are started by gear heads with a passion for our sport.The fact that WEISTEC makes something that will fit a Crossfire shows how special our cars are.I will be purchasing the filter assembly in red if for no other reason it just looks cool.
I'm glad someone's going to try it out. I do imagine though, that the inner stalk-portion of the oil-filter will come from the OE plastic filter and snaps into the Weistec metal cap. Please let us know.
I haven't been to Hiawassee, GA in over 30 years. My parents had a Summer place there way back in the 1980's. There used to be a weekly newspaper called 'Up Tusquittee'. You couldn't get a TV station unless your place was near the top of a mountain and so the VCR tape rental store (NOT a chain store!) did a brisk business.
