For some reason your response is not appearing on my computer for the forum though I got an email of it. In any case, I did try to do it with the engine on as well as with the ignition in the start position. Both times I was unable to move the top, I am assuming because the hydraulics were still on, and originally thought I really messed up. Once I turned the car off all was good. Not sure why it eventually worked, but something worked, and I am not going to argue with success at this point. Now my next job is the glue the window on, if that does not work then I will buy a new top. Any suggestions on a technique?
