the main problems are with the electrical aspects of the car, heated/power seats don't work, dash gauge back lights are out and my biggest concern is with the blower fan, I just got a power module by the blower for it and installed it today (previous owner said that it was blown). After installing it the fans came on and the heat worked fine, then it just decided to shut off, while it was running the dial wouldn't change the speed of the fans. After about 5 minutes the fans turned off and stayed off. It's very frustrating
Power seat failure quite common (replace module under dash/steering column), bottom part of our driver side heated seat not working, also somewhat common, blower fan erratic also, replaced resistor(?) but likely aforementioned poor contacts.
A few other common, but simple failures; crankshaft position sensor, "relay control module"/circuit board, & for some; water intrusion in the trunk "basement", damaging the central locking pump/circuit board.
Some new parts available online (Parts Geek, Needswings & Rock Auto etc), I avoid Chrysler dealer$ at all costs.
Much info can be found here on just about everything Crossfire.
