I don't think English is all THAT hard. Many of what I call the "European" languages are related and have their oddities. Spanish isn't all that simple, for example, but all such languages are similar and I dont think they are the most difficult in the world, not at all. And our use of a different spelling but same pronunciation for various words does not help - but try learning any Asian language.

I started to study Japanese when I went to work for Kenwood. WOW. What a different world!
