Dave, I agree the best tool is the one with the hex key.
But I gotta say, I have had three Roadsters in eleven years. All three came with the upper tool in the picture, but not the lower tool.
I'm dumbfounded to learn that some/all cars came with both, after being a member here eleven years.
EDIT: I misread your post. And I went out and looked, the SE came with the bottom tool. My Limiteds, at least the Graphite, came with the upper tool.

I am 300 posts from 24,000, lots of them inconsequential.
I could not find a wrench on my brand new 2004, so I asked the dealer for one, it was taken from another Crossfire. Some time later I found the original wrench in the pocket between the seats, so I had two. I gave one away to someone who never got one. I have never used it.
