Yes, I was concerned about the balance issue, too. But, each sensor weighs only 9.7 grams. (I just weighed one of mine.) That's a little more than a standard valve cap, but I never noticed any change in my tire balance. After a year, I bought new tires and had them balanced with these sensors in place.
