It is quite easy but many of the screws holding it in place are hidden. There are some in the console storage box under the felt base. To access the others you need to remove the fascia starting with the middle section, you have to remove the climate control ***** and radio for this. You need to do this anyway to remove the gear box. Removing the gear box will give you the best access
