Thanks Jim. I too bought the 3-volume Chrysler factory Xfire shop manuals which generally go for just shy of $200 for a good-quality used set. They are a boon and well-worth having for anyone who does their own maintenance. But EXACTLY LIKE YOU SAID it never mentions removing the electrical supplies! No one is perfect, but that seemed like a key thing to me too! That's the true value of this forum, because you can bet that as humans we're not that different, and thus subject to experience the same headaches. Thanks. Your mentioning this makes me more likely to share to share what I experience in the future.
