Coming home today oil indicator came on , pulled into a parking lot and found front of engine along with what the fan sprayed covered in oil. Oil was recently changed by son-in-law who probably overfilled by a quart. Bottom splash pan is full of oil from leak in front, no codes, car has been running flawlessly. Assuming he did overfill, pumped out thru dipstick and said he added 8 and 1/2 quarts of 0/40. Sprayed degreaser on engine, checked oil, added two quarts to bring it to full and started engine. I know it’s leaking in the left front of engine but as of yet haven’t found the leak. Help!! Any suggestions on the likely suspect😿
