I'm not in Michigan, But Klay is, I will ask him to chime in. I'm sure he has ideas on shops up that way.

BUT.............................. What do you mean it's not drivable? Does the engine start? Water in that channel does not disable the engine. What is so "undrive able" about it?

If the car won't run, there are 'rescue' guys on here who will pay $1500-3500, but a non-running car is not going to sell for $6000.

Having the cowl vent back up and flood the passenger's floor is a pain, but it's no reason do dump the car. MOST of the time, the audio system amplifier and fan resistor take damage and that's about it.

Again, why do you say you can't drive it?

*DUH - I have a manual, I forget that the Transmission Control Module is down there next to the audio amp in automatics. Yea, water in the TCM would probably make the car go into 'limp' mode, which gives you Park, Reverse and Second gear - only......
