I'm getting better at this. I was able to sand this hood entirely by machine without burning through. The OEM hood is 50.5lbs. This hood was 8lbs before fiberglass framing, hardware, vents and heatshield. Once it drys I will weigh it again.

Needs vents, wet sanding and clear. Not sure if I'm transferring the stock chrysler wing here of sanding this one into shape.
