Many just bypass the OEM TPMS system because it is so damn expensive to acquire the sensors and get them reset to the car. Search the site for the TPMS bypass, and just put short stubby stems in the wheels. An inexpensive tire pressure gauge checked once a week or so does fine and costs near to nothing at any auto parts retailer. Good luck!
