Update on this light-weight project I have removed the charcoal canister. Because I already bought this 2 times over the 16 years of ownership. Anyway, it's 8lbs. I have heard that someone removed all the lines to and plugged off the intake manifold. I don't know how to do that but thus far I took care of the check engine light with my Porsche Carsoft 2 diagnostic tool.
