The MB part number you have can, and does, cross-reference to many different clips. Way back (years) I got a bag of 25 off fleabay (Ebay) that fit and work perfectly for almost pennies each. YMMV, but if a name brand is what you wish then go with a MB supplied OEM part number. Also, this topic has (if not quite a few) a few posts about this exact clip. A google search is recommended but you can also use the forum search engine (some say the google search works better). Good luck!

I doubt that very much, can you imagine the confusion on the assembly line when the wrong part showed up?
I would say that the sellers of clips could get the number wrong easily.
