I’ve not been able to find a match for these clips. I’ve been to all the auto parts places around & ordered a few online. Can’t find a match. Anyone have any part numbers/links/leads?
The MB part number you have can, and does, cross-reference to many different clips. Way back (years) I got a bag of 25 off fleabay (Ebay) that fit and work perfectly for almost pennies each. YMMV, but if a name brand is what you wish then go with a MB supplied OEM part number. Also, this topic has (if not quite a few) a few posts about this exact clip. A google search is recommended but you can also use the forum search engine (some say the google search works better). Good luck!
The number i have posted came from a thread on the forum .I bought and used these clips a long time ago . What i have received sold under this number where excactly like the original in my XF .

So in their wisdom Mercedes gives the same number to different but similar parts?
I doubt that very much, can you imagine the confusion on the assembly line when the wrong part showed up?
I would say that the sellers of clips could get the number wrong easily.

To GraphiteGhost's point, here's what & where I bought them: M-B Interior Trim Clips. I've still got quite a few left. Used these when I had the headliner recovered. Worked perfectly!

Dave, I never said they were MB cross referenced part numbers. The MB part number can be cross referenced to other part numbers. Like Chrysler parts for the crossfire part numbers, there are other manufacturers referenced to the MB part number (that is a lot less expensive), & work the same.

I disagree they don't work the same, they are flimsy and tend to break very easily compared to the Mercedes factory part but they are much cheaper.

OK, I did but... why? Easy to return 'not as described' parts on their dime so that's not an issue. Also, it would be just like someone sent the wrong part anyway. I don't see your point of post #7.

It's OK to disagree but the el-cheapo's I got off fleabay (Ebay) worked fine and are still holding to date. Are you basing your comment on personal experience, OR MB brand name expensive?

From personal experience and even you posted or someone else that they had to put Vaseline on them so they wouldn't break as easily. The Mercedes ones are reusable most of the time. The aftermarket ones are one time use if you can even get them to work the first time!!! You are Rockauto.com's #1 fan so I am not surprised at your response.
