he MB part number can be cross referenced to other part numbers. Like Chrysler parts for the crossfire part numbers, there are other manufacturers referenced to the MB part number (that is a lot less expensive), & work the same.

I disagree they don't work the same, they are flimsy and tend to break very easily compared to the Mercedes factory part but they are much cheaper.
