I don't think anyone will like what's going on inside the car. The carbon changeover on the interior is a big job. Having said that the carpet was 8lbs with the foam included. The plastic pieces were moving and tabs broken to the point of either buy it all or have none at all. If that makes sense, lmk.
Anyway, I had to carbon craft the center console higher from the exposed bare metal to cut into for pocket and cup holders.
Here are the gains:
-My rear 11lbs battery has a slot in the center console (next to battery disconnect switch).
- 2 carbon cup holders with phone slot (picture provided at earlier post).
- Clean space for a 6 gand switch circuit relay hub. Here they are identified as Nos1, Nos2, city fuel pump 1 and race pump 2 (fuel cell), engine bay blower fans and exhaust cut-off switch (this is to open the exhaust flaps).
- 3 USB slots. For Bluetooth TPMS, seat coolers, and GoPro camera.
- Mounted fire extinguisher by my hand.
- Mounted small nitrous bottle NX incognito kit.
- On the dash, used the faux carbon piece from Benz SLK 320. It was mounted on a new crafted carbon dash.
- Placed a detachable 11" Android Tablet with built-in speakers (the only speakers) and Bluetooth. Running Dash Command on it. Might need it to play race track radio.
- By the headlight switch, add 2 momentary on-off metal buttons Nos activation buttons and 1 purge.
- Deleted glove box..
- New floors.
- craftedvthe knees dash panel, side walls that helped in mounting 5 point seat sit belt kit.
-Lost more more weight as the plastic trim was heavier.
That was all business, keep reading if you have a sense of humor. Thx
- Got a little tired 😫 of so much boren work and bought an Abarth 124 spider with turbo and proper limited slip differential.
- I felt that it was only good at autocross so I bought the Mustang GT S550 and gave it 600 hp.
- Decided to not mess with the Panamera Turbo's low oil pressure and went back to the Crossfire and will replace the injectors and put on colder spark plugs.
-On break from carbon fiber and waiting on Abarth's sway bars.
