The console switch is connected to the CLP/SSM via the BCM and it is the pump in the CLP/PCM that operates the doors etc by air pressure in the pneumatic lines to each lock.
The console switch sends two different voltages to the BCM, each voltage is determined by which option is picked, LOCK or UNLOCK. (ala_xire taught me this)
Each voltage is determined by a resistor in the switch.
My console switch does not work and I am slowly working toward a solution or alternatively, I might say to heck with the solution.
My switch works OK, so the BCM is receiving the correct voltages, I tried two switches and the voltages were the same from each.
