Re: DRB III Emulator?
The solder mod fixes the hardware problem in the newer versions of the clone box, that make it not read many items in the car, and it will definitely have issues in ALL other 2005 down Chryslers. This simple mod fixes that deficiency.
I am at work now, but will post up URL links that you can simply put in a browser running on the machine you have the Witech software, along with the DRBIII Enhance Emulator installed. I made bookmarks for the links, and then simply sent the bookmark to the desktop, meaning I just double click the icon on the desktop, and it opens up Chrome, which then launches the emulator. A mouthful, but it makes it really easy and quick to use. It also makes it to where you can skip all the steps and warnings inside of the Witech software, and just cut to the chase on the part you actually need the Micropod to work for. This also works for the older VCI Pod, if you have one of those (I have both).
If you are looking at some setup aspects of the device that you cannot see any other way, then with it connected to your PC, open up the browser, and type in the following address: 172.22.22.22 Brings up the device's page, and you can look at several interesting aspects of the device. FWIW, the Enhanced Emulator runs on a sub-page of this address. I'll get the URL for it later today.
