The car drove perfectly for about two weeks but it's started slipping when it gets hot and making a whining sound. Someone has told me that the torque converter has plates in it that would have been damaged by the contaminated fluid so I think I need to replace it . I don't want to spend a fortune so I'm going to try to find a good used one, will I need a new oil seal at the same time and if I do please can I have the part number for that too. Thanks
My search gives me Mercedes part# 210 250 07 02, that is for the SLK320.
