Default Re: Anybody know what this is?

A level surface the oil level should be the same at the front and back of the oil pan but as the angle changes the level gets higher on one end and lower on the other. Fluids are affected by centrifugal force same depth or quickly going around the corner could temporarily affect the level at the sensor. If the level seems a little high Open parked at surface it probably wouldn’t hurt to take out a little bit of oil.
