I took RR wheel off and examined all the components nothing loose amiss or rusted It continues to make same noise when brakes applied so I dont think it's that.
I can hear noise better with windows UP than down almost sounds like it's coming from behind the passenger seat?
I have swerved back and forth but no luck either.
I'm at a loss and dont want to give mechanic a blank check for this. Anyone have a clue where else to check?
Maybe wheel bearing? but car only has 34K on it and has always been garaged and driven responsibly

Try putting the rear up on jack stands and place it in gear
(RUNNING BUT NO THROTTLE), another member found some kind of 'insulation' loose around the driveshaft making the same noise. Remember,
DO NOT RACE OR PRESS THE THROTTLE, the excess speed can make things very expensive. Hope this helped.
