Curious, have you priced your top replacement at your local place, yet? Yes I figured his top quoted was much higher than the UK supplier (being their single top price was a few hundred higher than the @ 700 in the group buy). I wonder the impact of a $2400 repair to a vehicle (especially a Crossfire) by an insurance company, may affect its value down the road to the point where totaling it would be lower $ amount given this claimed payout (unless a special or replacement policy was purchased, which I didn't see if State Farm was mentioned as having those). Yes, I understand it is what they charged and was paid, just surprising how much of a price it was (given what the top could have been procured if another group buy was available). Personally, I wonder if they would have installed one of the group buy tops, and what the labor would have been. I have no personal interest in a roadster top given I have a coupe, just insatiable curiosity and the fact that that price seemed high.
