Hi Strechman, Removing that pin does indeed fix the sticky key problem, now it turns smooth as a baby. It appears that the purpose of the pin may have been to prevent the steering from being unlocked if for example the ignition lock was popped out, (by force) so that even if the ignition is hot-wired and the popped ignition is turned to attempt to un-lock the steering wheel, the wheel would remain locked , I have a key without the chip to unlock my doors and before the fix it couldn’t unlock the steering. Interesting.
