Hey I know it has been many moons since this post but following mouse intrusion in my blower motor I was able to clean the blower and the resistor but the red wire connection was broken. However, appears that at least the fan is operational when 12v applied. I went through the fuse box and don't see any blown fuses, although, fuse 36 is no receiving any power. I skimmed through the service manual and I'm not really sure when to start, it looks like ONLY fuse 36 is not getting power, everything else is +/- 12.6V.

Fuse 36 is "climate control" in coupes and 34 is "climate control" in Roadsters and is hot at all times. In my Roadster, 36 is "mirror adjustment" and it powers up only with the key on. I don't know why they did that, but they did.
