Are you asking this or have tried it? I have a roadster and stumbled on this thread and am now curious. If it can slide under that small gap with the door we need in place to lower the top, this could be on my shopping list. Right now I just have a tool kit and jumper cables hidden under it. Not much height for anything else.

I'd also be curious if anyone gets one of these to see pics installed. I know it's emergencies, but just isn't sitting in my head right now that it would keep the car from scraping being several inches smaller than stock. But then, I've usually not used the donut in other cars or had a full size spare.
