Wow thanks for the clarification. I have never used a multimeter reader but I will order one from Amazon and a new mirror switch. I hope this fixes it as everything else seems normal, given that I have power to the connector for the switch.
Best $10 you'll spend. Great for self-diagnosing and narrowing down lots of electrical problems.
