I see no reason to replace the sensor if it is working OK, why replace something which has historically fail rarely? An oil level sensor is an item that can be done without anyway. There is a dipstick after all.
That is my opinion anyway, why replace a perfectly working unit. The new one could be faulty from day one and fail next month as there is always that part that slips by inspection.
If it ain’t broke don’t fix it.
