Default Re: SRT6 Nitrous revisited looking for experienced opinions

I am interested in what your afr's were,,your boost, also what shot are u r running is it wet or dry ,
the last car i ran nitrus on was my pt cruiser 12.07 @ 112
as you know my V8 crossfire was 10.65 @130. my now crossfire V6 100 % stock ran 13.25 installing a 3.90 rear will run again in few weeks to see what the 3.90 gears can do for it.
Years ago we contacted the supercharger manufacture to find out the the max speed we could push the supercharger, I am answering this from memory, max rpm 22,000 rpm, units tested to 28000 rpm, in stock srt6 the supercharger runs stock 16000 rpm and 19lbs of boost equals 20,000 rpm , nitrous gas will harden the coating on the SC blades over time, it will break up and your SC boost drops to almost aspirated don't forget this in from memory.
as for my car before my V8's my srt6 was maxed out but no nitrous pulleys were 178 lower and 65 on sc speed of SC was 23,000 and boost was 19 the car ran (a few times 11.97 low to 11.99 most of the time it was 12.0 to 12.1... i ran this car 3 years and 472 runs doun the 1/4 mile don't forget ,,you are only critical when you are at W O T and that is only for a few seconds. my V8 i ran over 700 runs with 0 breakage, the V6 i have now only has 6 runs on it with 120,000 miles i have been replacing every seal, pulley ,water pumps hoses, filters . suspension rear with all adjustable, front bushings , steering and any thing i can find that needs replacing. i will be at Orlando speed way before the end of the month jim
