You do have to observe the location you want to install it to, as once that screen flips out and sits up vertically, it WILL partially cover up the controls / dials / air vents, that are positioned above the Stereo in your centre console.

Being an Android unit you weren't limited to the pre-installed features. You had access on the Stereo to the Android APP Store and could download a replacement DAB Player, or GPS App, or anything else you wanted.
I did also it hooked up to a rear / reverse camera. Along with OBD2, DAB, worked nicely.

Can pickup something like this on EBay cheaper than the premium brand options. Most are "generic" chinese units. Better ones branded as Joying, Pumpkin, etc...
I ended up rolling with a BOSS 7" floating display. The screen is always there but big enough to see the rear view camera screen well and small enough to be able to use all buttons and climate control wheels without any issues. It is adjustable for height and can be tilted in all directions.
Love it so far as it does everything I wanted. Sound quality is great (w/ the biggest bang for your buck mod) and I enjoy the Android play functionality of using my phone’s GPS through the screen. I need to spend a little bit more time on functions and a-ps I can download and control through the head unit.
It comes with a microphone which is -effect for making and taking calls without ever having to take your hands off the steering wheel. All functions are voice activated so you send messages or call people by simply issuing voice commands. Definitely very happy with it so far and it was on sale for $199 which is perfect for what it is and what it does.
