I THINK what you mean (it's not a good idea to post a question asking for technical help and not be clear) is this: "THe fuse blows, so the light comes on and the fan stops running".

Because, if that fuse blows, the fan controller has no power - so you get no fan and the light comes on because the ECU can tell the FCM (Fan Control Module) is in trouble. CERTAIN FCM messages will cause the ECU to cut out the A/C to protect the engine, so that is also explained.

WHat can blow that fuse? Two obvious suspects: The fan motor and the FCM. It is not altogether easy to tell which it is, you can try disconnecting the fan from the controller and seeing if that stops blowing the fuse, but be prepared to replace both. Now, this is an electrical problem so if you take it to ANY garage or dealer, they will replace one or both items as well . So, save some money, order both and put them in yourself, it's super easy.

If you take it to a garage, expect to pay $400 to $700 for this fix. YOu can order a fan module for under $200 and a fan motor assembly for around $150.
