Replaced the cup holder today with the new bin ordered on line in the 05 roadster. Now the centre armrest won’t open. There is nothing in there to block the latch. Anyone run into the armrest not opening and staying latch. Need it to open before we head to the Dragon.

Since it only takes a puff of air or a quick suck to open or close the locks,
why not remove the console and get to the back of the lock.The pump operates just for a second or so and you can hear it in the trunk quite easily.
It does not run all the time.
I have repaired plastic parts with a suitable cement and then wrapped it in epoxy putty, the kind you cut of a slice and mix them together. This gives the joint a solid support.
