I went the larger crank pulley route, so no real world experience with aftermarket SC pulley but the OEM pulley will have issues eventually. I've replaced (upgraded) a worn out OEM bearing in the stock pulley and noticed some play in rivets. I keep a spare bearing and pulley on standby because if you mod your car, things happen.
How do you know it is the original pulley? Are you the original owner? Also, how many miles on the car?
