I Know the answer to the second question: Because they sold you the wrong sensors, thinking you had a typical TPMS system. But you don't, you have the abortion known as the CROSSFIRE system and there is, I do believe, only one sensor that works.

Actually any sensor that is the proper frequency can be activated and linked to the TPMS Module using the DRB3 Emulator software. I've done this multiple times with various sensors for several folks & cleared the TPMS warning light on the dash. The Autel scanner I have doesn't require the magnet to trigger the sensor for the DRB3 Emulator software to store the sensor's info. The Autel scanner tool has the capability to trigger the sensor all by itself, working with the DRB3 Emulator software, & will store the sensors' IDs & info parallel to the TPMS Module. I've saved the sensor info and sent copies to the various owners for their records. And if the new sensors are Autel, the existing wheel sensors can be cloned by the Autel scanner so the TPMS Module doesn't know the difference between old & new.
