The other day I was doing some inspection work on my 2007 Coupe & decided to connect to the OBD port & see if any codes were present. Found these four listed: C1038, C1174, C1178, C1279. All of these tie back to the Clock Spring and/or Steering Angle Sensor. I have cleared all of these out, but haven't driven the car since. Probably will take the Coupe for a short drive tomorrow & see if these get generated again.
So I took the opportunity between storm fronts yesterday & tomorrow to take the 2007 Coupe for a short drive (it always brings "permagrin" whenever I drive this car -
). Wanted to see if any of the above codes got generated. Traveled thru some neighborhoods so I could get good "lock turns" on the steering wheel. Hooked up the code reader when I got back home & no codes were present. Guess I will continue to monitor this for awhile.
