Since its a chrysler transmission they should know how to do it. MB made the NAG1/722.6 automatic 5 speed transmission that does use a filter and gasket.

Like someone pointed it out, just a drain bolt and fill bolt on the 6 speed. Simple as a diff fluid change but dont expect it to solve the clunky nature of it.
MILES. THat is part of the answer. My Graphite had 116,000 on it when it was lost in an accident. I'd put Mobile 1 5W20 in it at around 50,000-60,000 miles and it helped -but what really helped was MILES.
That car shifted nicely towards the end.

My SE has Mobile 1 5W20 in it and it's OK, but not like the Graphite; I'm at 69,200 so in another 30,000 miles perhaps it will smooth out more.
