Default Re: At-205 re-seal

I find it fascinating how so many people will NOT question what is proposed to them.

"I have this product that stops leaks. You pour it in and it seals up the leak."
Really, how does it do that?

"T-205 Re-Seal is a fast, effective and safe stop-leak for all rubber seals and gaskets. The exclusive formulation restores worn or dried out seals and is not harmful to internal bearings and components."
Wow, that is really cool, it restores material worn away from the seal? Like it grows seal material as if it was alive?

Yes, you said that and I suppose maybe you could "un-dry" a dried out seal, but again, how do you 'restore' a worn seal? And if my seal dried out because it's outer surface was exposed to the atmosphere, how does you product, which is flowing on the inside only, restore the outer seal? Does it do it as it leaks out?

And what if I have a leak in the o-ring around the electrical connector in my Crossfire - can it restore the damaged o-ring (that, apparently, was not manufactured to the specs it should have been)?

Sure it does. If that was really the case, why can't I use it in brake systems, as per your website?

Yea, sure it does.

If it does ANYTHING, what it does will mean you will have further issues down the road. If you have a bad seal, replace the seal and change the fluid while you are at it. Or don't, it's your car.
