You said, "Everything is back together except for the two screws at very back that secures the foot guard. Just can't find the alignment for the screws to grab."

One of the Sticky Key tutorials advised against removing those two screws for that very reason.
I didn't remember that though, and also removed them.
Luckily i was able to get them back in.
