Get a CIA from needswings and your problem will be solved, if you do not have one on now. You do not need a tune with a the bigger throttle body. If you do not have the the CAI on now, I suspect your airfilter housing is old and slipping off the throttle body elbow on accleration. Have you recieved any misfire codes. Yes, you do need to perform a throttle reset.
