Update: The fellow at the Facebook parts page wants a deposit before removing &/or providing even a pic of the module he says he has. He only provided a generic summer pic of a perfect Crossfire roadster sitting in somebody's driveway. Is this the custom when buying parts over the internet?
If your Spidey Sense starts to tingle, then it’s a good idea to take a pass. There are a lot of other donor cars out there. I’ve had success on eBay with parts. If the item I needed wasn’t listed, I would reach out to the seller to inquire if they had it. I’m successful more often than not when doing this. Plus the sellers usually have a longer history of transactions and ratings. When searching this way, the items you’re after tend to be less expensive because they are not high turn and in high demand so most of these parts are seen as unsellable or unusable by the seller
