A automatic ECU won't start at a manual car because it won't get the signal, that the transmission is in P or N. So if you buyed the new ECU, Skreem and Keys from a car with automatic transmission (what is very likely because it gives not many crossfire with manual transmission) you will have the same issue as you have now. The starter will do nothing.
