I spliced color for color and everything works fine. Are you saying that I should switch the red and yellow wires to keep battery from going dead??? It works fine on ACC and engine on.
Not familiar with the Harmony Adapter you used, so you may have everything connected properly. I would just make sure you have the Red & Yellow wires connected to the correct PIN location on the OEM Harness. (Ref Greg's write-up)
Only thing I was referencing was if you purchase the updated Metra Adapter 70-1786, it is correctly wired to match the OEM Crossfire stereo harness. That means the Red & Yellow wires DO NOT need to be switched when connecting the 2 harnesses together.
