I'm jumping in on this thread because it is so current and is wiring related.

Just bought my SRT and have purchased a new JVC HU from Crutchfield. I also bought their prewired adapter cable. I specifically told them I wanted to use the preamp outputs. The adapter cable is using the preamps for the speakers but not for the sub. I called tech support but he made no sense. Is this wiring right/ok or should I make an issue of it with Crutchfield....or modify the harness myself?? Or...would I even notice the difference??
