I suppose it could be a belt or bearing?
Noticed it right after I had to gun it.
Can hear it when in idle as well and changes when reving.
Made me think as well, should I be doing some proactive maintenance with this many years on the vehicle?
I suppose do the items in the owners manual such as spark plugs, coolant, fuel filter, etc. which I guess should have been done every 4 to 5 years according to the manual?
Your car must be rated in pig power and not horse power. They are a real swine to fix.
Spark plugs are good for some more years, fuel filter should still be fine. Look at the belt and check all the bearings on all the pulleys, water pump, idlers etc. You have just a few more miles than mine and I have just changed the belt, more for its age than anything else.
