I have an 08 Crossfire Ltd coupe.
Looking for any info if the ORC module in the MB SLK R170 platform can be used to replace the ORC module no longer supported/produced by Chrysler with regards to the SRS system and air bag light on?
I did the unthinkable and went to dealer who has a Crossfire experienced tech and tools to diagnose the vehicle. My light came on back in Sept. 2021 thought is was because the battery went dead in vehicle. Not the problem the ORC module went bad. The Chrysler tech traced out all the wiring and found it to be in working order just bad ORC module.
Can the ORC module be repaired or must it be replaced.
Appreciate any info on this subject. For now a piece of electrical tape takes care of having see the light!
