The past few months my central locking has been playing up (due to water in the boot) now I am needing to open my boot to get to the central locking module. But I can’t get the boot open no release hatch from the inside, I can’t release the lock hatch from inside the left license plate light hole, the fob does nothing die to the central locking module most likely being under water.

does the method from inside the left license plate light work if the central locking is dead? If you manage to flick it up does it make a “click” sound if done correctly?.

Also is there a method to release the gas flap manually as I need to fill it up to actually make it to my mechanic if I can’t get any of this done ?

these problems are giving me hell
