I've been working on documenting how the turn/hazards work, since you finally got me to accept the challenge to do so.

Based on what I have learned, and taking into consideration the two issues they left you with (airbag issue and turn signal issue but working hazards) - I have come to the SOLID conclusion: They did not secure the connector in the column housing that connects the multifunction switch and airbag squib to the harness going up under the instrument cluster. From the diagrams, it looks like this is not the same connector, but that they failed with two connectors.
